With over 53 locations making live transactions, data gathering and analysis was of the utmost importance, to ensure that statistics and figures were delivered to managers at every stage of the working day. With all sites operating around the clock, staff spent many hours manually collating data. |

Employees were required to hand write statistics and figures, which they would then type into a spreadsheet, delivering the information to the office the following day. |
 |
Once the information had been received, the statistics and figures had to be formatted and analysed several times, before reaching the Managing Directors desk for the following week’s projection and goals. |

| The MSBC Bespoke Solution? |

Mindful of the fact that over 165 Staff were constantly on the move and scattered at different locations, MSBC rolled out a customised application throughout the entire organisation. The movement of statistics and figures was reduced to just a few seconds. |
 |
Staff at every location were asked to input the required information into their customised Blackberry application, allowing the instant transferal of data to the central server, which would then automatically begin the analysing process. |
 |
The thousands of database records were used to update the entire data storage system and provide output analysis live on the users’ handsets. Transactions occurring at all locations can show live calculated statistics. |

Analysis and report drafting was cut down to seconds, with mistakes caused by human error greatly reduced. Managing directors are able to use their handsets to provide ‘at a glance’ live statistics relating to every location. |
