Our Corporate Social
Responsibility
MSBCs Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) company policy outlines our efforts to give back
to the world as it gives to us. This policy applies to our company and its subsidiaries.
We want to be a responsible business that meets the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
Our CSR policy spans three core categories: Ethics, Social and Environmental.
Ethics
As a company, we will always conduct business with integrity and respect to human rights. We will ensure that we:
- Abide by the law and operate following rules & regulations
- Honour our internal policies
- Ensure that all our business operations are legitimate
- Keep every partnership and collaboration open and transparent
- Respect our customers
- Implement and monitor anti-bribery and anti-corruption practices
- We undertake regular reviews of our policies and operations to monitor our performance in this area
Social
We recognize that we play an important role in our local communities and we aim to make the communities in which we operate better places by:
- Encouraging and empowering our employees to get involved with their local communities and use their skills and where possible the Company’s resources to help create a mutual benefit
- Donating and providing aid to not-for-profit and charitable organisations
- Being a committed equal opportunities employer and abiding by all fair labour practices
- Supporting diversity and inclusion
We have distributed food parcels to the homeless and abandoned & injured animals. Made charitable donations and provided aid to societies and communities that support widows and orphaned children. We continuously create employment opportunities and provide mentorship for people who haven’t had the privilege of receiving an education or obtaining professional skills. Our intern scheme allows for these individuals to create positive paths for their future by providing them with exposure to different cultures/professions/industries and enabling them to acquire technical skills. We also host several fund-raising events throughout the year which not only enables us to raise money for charity but also allows us to create a fun, enjoyable and satisfying working environment by bringing our employees together.
Environmental
We recognize the need to protect the natural environment. Keeping our environment clean and unpolluted is a benefit to all of us. Apart from legal obligations, we will proactively protect the environment by:
- Recycling
- Conserving and minimizing our energy consumption
- Using environmentally-friendly technologies
As part of a recent refurbishment of our offices in India, we have adopted energy-efficient solutions for elements such as heating/cooling and lighting systems. Furthermore, as part of our IT policy, we encourage all employees to refrain from printing documents in support of reducing our carbon footprint. Any old equipment, ranging from IT hardware to furniture is provided to educational/charitable institutions which also supports our Social CSR policy.
