Let’s feed Ahmedabad
November 2021

World Children’s Day was first established in 1954 as Universal Children's Day and is celebrated on 20th November each year to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide, and improving children's welfare.

Across the world, children are struggling for their basic right to get enough nutritious food. The sad truth is that 1 out of 6 children around the world go to bed hungry every night which is a huge contributor to their physical & mental development. To add to the struggle the COVID-19 Pandemic has not helped matters either. No matter where we live, the pandemic has affected all of us and children have never been at so much risk.

MSBC felt it was their corporate responsibility to support these children by distributing food for the underprivileged children around the city of Ahmedabad on 13th November 2021.

7 teams of 3-5 volunteers distributed nearly 1000 food packs across several locations in Ahmedabad. Along with the food packs, MSBC employees took the initiative to previously scout areas that have children who are in need of clothes and toys and arranged to get together these donations to hand-deliver them.

It was a day to be remembered, a boost for all the volunteers and a chance to give back to the local community. MSBC thanks all the volunteers for their time and enthusiasm as providing a meal to a hungry child just once per day could have an enormous impact on their health, education, and future prosperity.

It is important to help the underprivileged children of our communities. They are our next generation from leaders & innovators to inspirations & entertainers. Hence, the future of our world tomorrow depends on how we treat our children today. It doesn't have to be complicated or time-consuming, and MSBC is glad to see so many volunteers selflessly assisted with "Let's feed Ahmedabad".
